Murree Control Room made fully operational to facilitate tourists during Eid

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2026) On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, the Murree Control Room has been made fully operational to ensure uninterrupted public service during Eid holidays.

The control room is functioning with representatives of all relevant departments present to address public complaints and emergencies without delay. The initiative aims to provide immediate relief to residents and tourists visiting the district during Eid.

Officials said an effective system has been put in place to promptly register complaints and forward them to the concerned departments for swift action, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Representatives from Punjab Police, Rescue 1122, the Health Department, Traffic Police, Municipal Corporation, Highway Department, and other key institutions have been deployed at the control room, enabling strong coordination among departments.

Under this coordinated mechanism, issues related to traffic flow, medical emergencies, sanitation, water supply, and road maintenance are being addressed efficiently.

Given the expected influx of tourists during Eid, the importance of the control room has further increased. Authorities are also providing timely guidance to visitors and ensuring immediate assistance in case of any inconvenience.

The deputy commissioner has directed staff to treat every complaint seriously, ensure prompt response, and provide maximum relief to the public. The initiative reflects the district administration’s commitment to effective governance and public-friendly policies.
