Muridke: Collision between 2 motorcycles, father killed, son injured

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jun, 2026) Two motorcycles collided near Kalashah Kaku on GT Road in Muridke, resulting the death of a father riding a motorcycle while his son was injured.

On receiving information about the accident, police officials and rescue teams also reached the spot. The deceased and the injured were shifted to the hospital.

Rescue officials said that 18-year-old Shahzeb was safe due to his helmet, the other motorcyclists managed to escape from the spot, the injured Munawar was taken to THQ but he could not survive.

Police officials said that the father and son were returning to Muridke from Shahdara after their routine labor work. The police handed over the body to the heirs after necessary action.

Police officials further said that an investigation into the accident has been launched, and a search has also been launched for the fleeing motorcyclist.
