Murder suspect held over property dispute in Fateh Jang

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Mar, 2026) The police arrested a man accused of murdering his neighbour over a property dispute in the jurisdiction of Fateh Jang police station, the police said on Thursday.

According to police sources, the incident occurred on February 26 in village, Diwal, where the accused, identified as Usman Ali, allegedly opened fire on Majid Ali following a heated argument over a land ownership dispute.

The suspect fled the scene after the attack, they added.

The police also recovered the weapon used in the crime — a 30-bore pistol — from the suspect during interrogation.

Further investigation is underway, the police said.
