Muqam pays tribute to Arm Forces on Marka-e-Haq anniversary

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam on Friday paid rich tribute to the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces demonstrated during the “Battle of Truth” and to their sacrifices for safeguarding the motherland.

The minister said in a message issued by his office that the Pakistan Armed Forces gave a befitting response to Indian aggression and crushed the enemy’s arrogance.

He added that the Pakistan Air Force destroyed enemy aircraft and defense systems in a historic air battle using modern warfare tactics.

Muqam said that the Battle of Truth is a glorious and memorable chapter in Pakistan’s national and defense history.

He further stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the entire nation stood by the Pakistan Armed Forces.

He added that the political and national leadership demonstrated exemplary unity and solidarity against Indian aggression.

Muqam said that the Battle of Truth showcased Pakistan’s military and diplomatic capabilities at the global level.

He further added that the great sacrifices of the martyrs are a source of pride for the nation and will always be remembered.
