Municipal administration intensifies sanitation measures in city parks

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) On the special directives of Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) Muhammad Hanif, Tehsil Officer (Infrastructure) Muhammad Zeeshan and Tehsil Officer (Regulation) Arman Hussain, a comprehensive cleanliness drive was carried out in various public parks of Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday.

The operation was supervised by Garden Supervisor Suni Khan Chishti, who ensured that sanitation measures were implemented effectively in different recreational facilities across the city.

During the drive, thorough cleaning activities were conducted at Milad Park, Town Hall, Haq Nawaz Park and Center Media.

In addition to cleanliness efforts, plants were also watered to maintain greenery and enhance the overall beauty of the parks.

The initiative aimed at providing a clean and pleasant environment to citizens, particularly families and children visiting these public spaces.

Residents appreciated the efforts of the municipal administration and termed the initiative a positive step towards ensuring improved civic amenities and maintaining the city’s aesthetic appeal.
