Multan set to host Inter-Division Kabaddi final on April 28

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) The final of the Inter-Division Kabaddi Tournament will be held on Tuesday (April 28) at the Divisional Sports Complex in Multan, officials said on Monday.

According to Divisional Sports Officer Atta-ur-Rehman Khan,the tournament was being organized by the Sports Department Multan Division under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister(CM),Maryam Nawaz Sharif who has declared 2026 as the “Year of Sports.”

He said teams representing Multan, Khanewal, Vehari and Lodhran have reached the final after competing at inter-tehsil and inter-district levels.

Players from Under-23 and open categories participated in the initial rounds.

The final match was scheduled to begin at 5:00pm at the hockey ground of the Divisional Sports Complex.

Commissioner Multan Aamir Karim Khan will attend the event as chief guest.

Officials said winning teams will be awarded cash prizes and trophies, while the champions will qualify to represent Multan Division in the Inter-Division event to be held in Lahore.

The sports officer said the event would provide spectators an opportunity to witness high-quality kabaddi action.
