Muharram security alert: SP Mobiles makes surprise visit to various checkpoints

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2026) SP Mobiles Bilal Ahmed made a surprise visit to various checkpoints of the city and reviewed the security arrangements.

According to the spokesperson, SP Mobiles inspected other important checkpoints including Naka Sherakot.

On this occasion, he met the deployed officers and soldiers and expressed satisfaction over the performance of duties under the Muharram Security Plan. SP Mobiles also issued instructions to the checkpoint in-charges to make security more effective.

He said that to protect the lives and property of citizens, all officers and personnel should remain active in the field and be alert at all times to deal with any situation.

During the visit, SP Mobiles also checked the records of suspicious persons and vehicles through the e-Police app and instructed the personnel to use it effectively.

He further directed that complete verification of suspicious persons, vehicles and motorcycles should be ensured so that the law and order situation can be maintained.
