MQM-P MNA raises gas outages, low pressure issue with SSGCL

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2026) The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan's (MQM-P) MNA Syed Waseem held a meeting with the top officers of Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) and conveyed citizens' complaints pertaining to gas load shedding and low pressure.

According to a statement issued here on Sunday, the MNA requested the SSGCL's Senior General Manager Madni Siddiqui and Regional Head in Hyderabad Farooq Nizamani to address both the issues.Waseem underlined that the gas outages and low pressure had made it very difficult for the citizens to cook 3 times meals in their homes as inflation had already made cooked food expensive.He emphasized that the use and import of gas compressors should be completely banned.The MNA urged the officers to set up 2 more customers' complaint centers in Hyderabad.The officers assured the legislator that his recommendations would be implemented.
