FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) The Regional Police on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the British Institute Faisalabad to offer special fee concessions to the children of police officers and officials.
According to a spokesman,Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Akhtar Sukhera and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) British Institute Abid Ali formally signed the agreement.
Under the MoU,children of police martyrs will be granted 100 percent fee concession in computer courses and 60 percent in modern language courses.
Children of Ghazi officers will receive 75 percent concession in computer courses and 50 percent in language courses.
Likewise,children of serving police employees will be entitled to 50 percent concession in computer courses and 40 percent in modern language courses.
Speaking on the occasion, RPO Sohail said the agreement demonstrates the department’s commitment to ensuring quality and affordable education for the families of police personnel who dedicate their lives to protecting citizens.
He added that the welfare of police employees and the future of their children remain a top priority and the regional police will continue to support the educational advancement of martyrs’ families,Ghazis and serving officials.
