Motorcyclist killed in hit-and-run near Singhpura Mandi

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2026) A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident after being hit by a speeding car near Singhpura Mandi on Saturday,police said.

According to the Lahore Police, the accident occurred when a fast-moving car collided with a motorcycle,resulting in the rider’s death on the spot.The deceased was identified as Ali Shirazi.

Police said the driver fled the scene after the accident, abandoning the vehicle at the site.

The vehicle has been taken into custody and shifted for examination, while efforts are underway to trace and arrest the absconding driver.

Investigators were reviewing different aspects of the incident, and further legal action will be taken upon completion of the inquiry.

Police added that the case was being investigated from all possible angles to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.
