Motorcyclist killed

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) A young motorcyclist was crushed to death in a road accident in the area of Jhumra police station.

A Rescue 1122 spokesman stated here on Monday that a speeding motorcycle was attempting to cross an oil container when it slipped and fell beneath the container, causing its tyre to run over the biker near the Parco oil depot on Jhumra Road.

As a result, 40-year-old Mehndi Hasan, son of Shah Muhammad, resident of Chak No.191-RB received serious injuries and died on the spot before getting any medical assistance.

The police took the body into custody while further investigation was underway.
