Motorcyclist dies after tree falls in Abbottabad, family tracing underway

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) A young motorcyclist lost his life after a tree fell on him during travel on Club Road in Abbottabad during the night torrential rain and thunderstorm.

The deceased was identified as Fahad Khan Bangash, son of Asadullah, a resident of Bannu Road, Kohat.

According to rescue sources on Tuesday, the incident occurred near the Lady Garden area, where the victim was struck by a falling tree while riding a motorcycle, resulting in his death on the spot.

Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the body to DHQ Hospital Abbottabad for legal formalities.

Authorities said that efforts are underway to trace and contact the deceased’s family, as his mobile phone was found switched off and his phone could not be recovered from the scene.

Officials and local administration have appealed to the public that anyone having information about the deceased’s relatives should immediately contact the nearest police station or DHQ Hospital Abbottabad.
