Mohsin Naqvi condemns bomb attack near police vehicle in Lakki Marwat, pays tribute to martyred officers

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2026) Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has strongly condemned the bomb explosion that occurred near a police vehicle in Lakki Marwat, terming it a cowardly act of terrorism targeting the nation’s brave security forces.

The interior minister paid rich tribute to the six police personnel — including the Station House Officer who embraced martyrdom in the attack. He expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs, acknowledging their immense sacrifice for the country.

“The brave young men of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have sacrificed their today for the peaceful tomorrow of the nation,” Naqvi said, reaffirming the government’s resolve to continue the fight against terrorism.

He added that the officers and personnel of the provincial police force have rendered unforgettable sacrifices in the war against terrorism. “Our martyrs are our pride, and their great sacrifices will always be remembered,” the interior minister said.
