ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) A Model Ramzan Bazaar has been set up on Thursdat in Attock District on the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to provide maximum relief to citizens during the holy month of Ramzan.

According to DC office, the Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza emphasized that ensuring public relief is the Punjab government's top priority.

The bazaar offers essential commodities at subsidized rates, with stalls selling flour, sugar, pulses, vegetables, fruits, meat, and other daily-use items. Atif inspected the stalls, checking price lists, quality, and interacting with shoppers.

Citizens expressed satisfaction over reasonable prices and improved management.

The administration has issued strict directives against price increases, ensuring all commodities are sold at government-approved rates, with daily monitoring.

Price control magistrates are actively monitoring the field, and citizens are urged to report overcharging for immediate action. The district administration is committed to providing relief and taking strict action against profiteers.

The Model Ramzan Bazaar reflects the government's efforts to support citizens during Ramzan, with facilities like cleanliness, security, and shaded waiting areas.
