Mirpurkhas marks first anniversary of 'Marka-e-Haq' with rallies, sports events

MIRPURKHAS, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Rallies, ceremonies, and sports events were organized across Mirpurkhas district on Friday to mark the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” and express solidarity with the Pakistan Army.

Citizens, teachers, students, traders, and members of civil society participated enthusiastically in the events.In Kot Ghulam Muhammad, a rally titled “Marka-e-Haq, Pakistan Zindabad and Pak Army Zindabad” was led by Taluka Officer education Abdul Rasheed Khaskheli and Qari Nisar. Hundreds of people, including teachers, journalists, traders, and civil society members, took part.

Participants chanted slogans in favor of the Pakistan Army and paid tribute to the sacrifices of the armed forces for the country’s security and stability. Meanwhile, in Mirwah Gorchani, a rally and ceremony were organized at the Government Girls Higher Secondary school to commemorate the anniversary of Bunyan-e-Marsous “Marka-e-Haq.”

The event was led by Principal Maryam Sheikh, with a large number of teachers and students in attendance.

Speakers said that one year ago Pakistan thwarted India’s malicious intentions and raised the country’s honor globally.

The ceremony echoed with loud slogans of “Pakistan Army Zindabad.” The Sindh Sports board also organized a grand “Marka-e-Haq Arm Wrestling Champion Cup” at Gamma Stadium in Mirpurkhas, where young athletes participated with great enthusiasm.

Special guests included Pakistan Peoples Party District Vice President Ishaq Narejo, Sports Officer Vasdeve Malhi, Football Association President Saleem Bhai, and Imam Baloch. Trophies, medals, and champion cups were distributed among the winning players.

Speakers at the sports event stated that sports not only engage the younger generation in positive activities but also teach unity, discipline, and patriotism.

They further said the victory of “Marka-e-Haq” was made possible through the blessings of Almighty Allah and the leadership of Field Marshal General Asim Munir.
