BANNU: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-March 5^th, 2026) A minor girl was allegedly tortured by armed men in the Zerki area of Domel tehsil in Bannu, with a video of the incident later circulating on social media, police said.

The police officials said that the incident took place in Domel where several armed individuals reportedly abducted the girl and subjected her to violence.

The police said the suspects also recorded a video of the assault and shared it online.

The initial reports showed that the girl was targeted for allegedly adopting a masculine appearance and spending time with a boy.

In the viral video, the girl is seen being forced to state that she would not accompany boys in the future. She is also made to say that she would not leave her home again.

The police said authorities are examining all aspects of the case and efforts are underway to trace and arrest the suspects involved in the incident. Further investigation is ongoing.
