Minister urges newly appointed sub-engineers to work with honesty, dedication

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2026) Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering Fazal Shakoor Khan on Friday distributed appointment letters among newly recruited Sub-Engineers in a ceremony held here.

Addressing the gathering, the minister said that the recruitment process of Sub-Engineers in the Public Health Engineering Department has been completed purely on merit.

He added that the selections were made through EATA in a transparent manner, reflecting the government’s good governance policy.

Fazal Shakoor Khan stated that merit, quality, and transparency remain top priorities of the government and no compromise would be made in this regard.

He urged the newly appointed Sub-Engineers to perform their duties with honesty, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Highlighting the role of the department, the provincial minister said that the Primary mandate of the Public Health Engineering Department is to provide clean and safe drinking water to the public.

He emphasized that young engineers can play a significant role in the development of the province if they work with integrity and commitment.

The minister congratulated the newly appointed Sub-Engineers and expressed his best wishes for their future, directing them to serve the public with honesty and professionalism.
