Minister holds open court, assures resolution of public complaints

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yaseen on Sunday held an open court (Khuli Kachehri) in his constituency, where he listened to the concerns of local residents and party workers and issued on-the-spot directions for their resolution.

Community elders and party workers appreciated the minister for the ongoing development works in the area and expressed their gratitude for addressing public issues.

The minister announced that beautification work from Data Darbar to Mohni Road would commence soon. He said that construction and rehabilitation of both major roads and narrow streets in the constituency had significantly improved ease of movement for residents as well as the business community.

Bilal Yaseen noted that the global increase in petroleum prices had led to a rise in the cost of local goods. However, he added that Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif had taken steps to reduce the financial burden on citizens by providing free travel facilities.

He further said that planning for record development projects in the upcoming fiscal year was already underway, expressing confidence that the next budget would be people-friendly and contribute to the province’s prosperity.
