PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) Provincial Minister for Higher education and Local Government, Meena Khan Afridi here on Friday formally announced development of a new family entertainment park dedicated to residents of PK-83.
Speaking during a Local Government meeting following an extensive briefing, the minister revealed that the park would be situated in open space of grain warehouse in Ramdas Bazar.
With an estimated cost of Rs 100 million, this initiative represents a significant commitment to enhancing community infrastructure and providing a safe, high-quality recreational environment for women, children, and individuals with special needs.
The project has already moved into its operational phase, with formal tenders published in major newspapers to invite competitive bids. Interested parties are required to provide a 2 percent deposit as earnest money, totaling Rs 2 million, to qualify for the process.
The deadline for tender submissions is set for May 13, 2026, with opening of bids scheduled to take place at 2:00 PM on the same day at Local Government Office.
