Medical store sealed

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) The district administration sealed a medical store after its owner was allegedly caught practising allopathic treatment illegally.

Official sources said the action was taken on the directives of Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi and under the supervision of Chief Executive Officer District Health Authority Dr Syed Atta-ul-Munim following a complaint.

A raid was conducted at Zahra Medical Store in the Jheeranwali area where the owner was allegedly found administering injections to patients and providing allopathic treatment without authorization.

During the raid, officials recovered used syringes, various injections and IV infusion bottles from the premises. The authorities collected evidence and sealed the outlet on the spot.

The case has been referred to the Punjab Healthcare Commission for further legal action.
