MDA retrieves mortgaged plots from land grabbers

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) The Enforcement Directorate of the Multan Development Authority (MDA), accompanying officers of Urban Planning Directorate and the Pera Force, carried out an operation in Gulshan Mehr Housing Scheme and retrieved eight mortgaged plots from land grabbers.

According to an official release issued on Thursday, during the joint operation, permanent boundary walls, iron gates and other structures raised there were demolished, and the illegally occupied properties were vacated.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate also launched an anti-encroachment drive along Bosan Road and cleared roadside encroachments from Chungi No. 9 to Chungi No. 6 and up to Syedan Wala Bypass Chowk, restoring the right of way for traffic and pedestrians.
