MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jun, 2026) Commissioner Multan Division Aamir Karim Khan Monday said that public parks were being equipped with all possible recreational and civic facilities to provide citizens with a healthy, safe and pleasant environment.

He expressed these views during his visit to Al-Badar Park, Shah Rukn-e-Alam, where he reviewed landscaping work, public amenities and the overall maintenance of the park.

Managing Director, Multan Horticulture Authority, Syed Waseem Hassan, Director Administration and Finance Muhammad Nadeem Malik, and Director Horticulture Saad Qureshi accompanied the commissioner during the visit.

The commissioner directed the authorities concerned to ensure that landscaping work was carried out in accordance with high standards and that all public facilities, particularly washrooms, remained fully operational for visitors.

He also ordered the installation and proper maintenance of park lights and directed officials to undertake further plantation to enhance the park's beauty.

Interacting with senior citizens visiting the park, Aamir Karim Khan sought their feedback on the facilities and emphasized that public convenience would remain the top priority of the district administration.

He further directed the officials to pay special attention to landscaping and the maintenance of jogging tracks, besides ensuring an uninterrupted water supply to parks during the summer season.

Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director Horticulture Authority, Syed Waseem Hassan said that beautification of parks and green belts across the city was being carried out on priority, adding that effective arrangements had been made to ensure adequate water supply for maintaining greenery despite the prevailing hot weather.
