Martyred constable honored with salute on death anniversary

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) The police honored martyred Constable Shehzad Ansar with a ceremonial salute and floral tributes on his death anniversary.

According to police spokesman, a solemn ceremony was held in connection with the death anniversary of martyred Constable Shehzad Ansar where a contingent of Sahiwalah police station presented salute to the martyr in recognition of his courage, devotion and sacrifice in the line of duty.

Senior police officials visited grave of the martyr, laid floral wreaths and offered ‘Fateha’ and special prayers for elevation of his ranks in the hereafter world.

Constable Shehzad Ansar had embraced martyrdom nine years ago while fighting bravely against dacoits during an encounter and sacrificed his life to protect citizens and maintain peace and law and order, the spokesman added.
