The police paid rich tribute to martyred Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Naveed-ul-Hassan on his death anniversary, acknowledging his bravery and sacrifice in the line of duty

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) The police paid rich tribute to martyred Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Naveed-ul-Hassan on his death anniversary, acknowledging his bravery and sacrifice in the line of duty.

According to police spokesman, officers and personnel of Garh police station visited grave of the martyred ASI, laid floral wreath and offered ‘Fateha’ for eternal peace of his soul.

ASI Naveed-ul-Hassan had embraced martyrdom 22 years ago while courageously fighting armed robbers during an operation to protect citizens and maintain law & order, he added.

Meanwhile, City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain said that police martyrs were real heroes of the nation as they sacrificed their lives for protection of the citizens and restoration of peace in the society.

He said that great sacrifices and bravery of police martyrs would always be remembered with honor and respect.

He said that the police saluted sacrifices of its martyrs and remained committed to preserve their legacy through continued welfare and support for their families. Welfare, care and support of the families and children of martyrs were the foremost responsibility of police department, he added.
