Marka-e-Haq victory proves Pakistan’s defense impregnable: FCCI leader

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Senior Vice President (SVP) Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) Naveed Akram Sheikh said that success of Marka-e-Haq (Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos) proves Pakistan’s defense is impregnable in addition to further elevating the country’s honor and prestige at the international level.

Addressing a special ceremony organized in connection with the first anniversary of Bunyan-un-Marsoos, he said that the entire Pakistani nation continues to stand like a fortified wall alongside its armed forces against every form of aggression and hostile propaganda.

He said that Pakistan’s armed forces had always courageously confronted enemy forces many times larger in size and inflicted defeat upon them on every occasion through bravery, professionalism and national unity.

Naveed Akram Sheikh said that India had violated Pakistan’s airspace without provocation on May 06, after which the Pakistan Air Force responded immediately and effectively.

He claimed that on May 10, Pakistan successfully shot down five advanced Indian fighter aircraft, demonstrating the operational capability and preparedness of the country’s defense forces.

He further said that talented Pakistani IT experts and youth also played a vital role during the conflict situation and targeted Indian systems, causing serious disruption to strategic infrastructure and military installations.

The FCCI leader said that India attempted to conceal its defeat through different tactics, but Pakistan launched a highly organized diplomatic campaign at the international level which compelled world leaders and international media to acknowledge Pakistan’s effective response and military capability.

Even global powers appreciated Pakistan’s stance and leadership while international media extensively highlighted developments related to the conflict situation, he added.

Naveed Akram Sheikh said that anti-state elements and hostile agents were continuously using social media platforms to spread propaganda against Pakistan’s armed forces, but such conspiracies had failed in the past and would continue to fail in future as well.

He said that the business community, industrial sector and people from all walks of life stood united with the Pak armed forces for the security, sovereignty and stability of the country.

Former FCCI President Rehan Naseem Bharara, member of the Council of Islamic Ideology Hafiz Muhammad Amjad, Executive Member Muhammad Sameer and other participants also addressed the ceremony and paid tribute to the courage and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces.

Later, former Senior Vice President FCCI Chaudhary Tallat Mahmood thanked the guests and reiterated the resolve to continue supporting national unity, peace and stability.
