Marka-e-Haq: Pak armed forces made clear regional bullying intolerable

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) The Pakistan Armed Forces had launched May 10 last clearly demonstrated the fact there was no room for adversary playing bully and that every external threat would be neutralized to safeguard the motherland.

Pakistan’s armed forces demonstrated exceptional courage and professionalism during the last year conflict with India, forcing the neighbouring country to retreat and seek international intervention, said Vice Chancellor Nishtar Medical University, Professor Dr Mehnaz Khakwani, here Monday while addressing a seminar to pay tribute to armed forces on the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq”.

Recalling the aggressive attack of the neighbouring country, she said India had launched attacks during the night of May 7 and later on May 9 last year. It made Pakistan believe the enemy must be taught a lesson, Dr. Khakwani said, adding country’s military leadership led by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, briefed the President and Prime Minister on the situation during an emergency meeting and it was decided to deliver a “strong and effective response” on May 10.

Pakistan’s armed forces remained fully prepared on land, in the air and at sea to counter Indian aggression, the NMU VC said, adding the retaliatory air strikes launched by Pakistan Air Force successfully targeted several Indian military assets in the Operation ‘Bunyanum Marsoos’.

Dr. Khakwani said, the events of May 10 were witnessed around the world and praised the role of Pakistan’s armed forces in defending the country. She heaped praise on Pakistan Air Force for smartly using the fighter jets, inflicting heavy losses on the neighbouring country.

A large number of faculty members, and students attended the seminar where they expressed solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan.
