Man shot dead, sister wounded in property dispute

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2026) A man was shot dead and his sister injured in the Gujar Khan area, reportedly by their brother over a property dispute, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Friday.

According to initial reports, the suspect opened fire on his siblings, injuring his brother and sister.

The injured were shifted to hospital where the man succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Police said investigations were under way from all angles to ascertain the facts of the case.

Senior police officers, along with heavy police contingent, reached the scene and collected evidence.

The spokesman said raids were being conducted to arrest the suspect, adding that he would be brought to justice soon.
