Man killed over minor dispute

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) A minor argument among three friends escalated into a tragic incident at Chowk Kumharan Wala in Jalalpur Pirwala, leaving one man dead.

According to eyewitnesses, 40-year-old Muhammad Yousaf was fatally struck with an axe during a heated confrontation with his friends. The attack reportedly occurred after the friends had consumed ice (methamphetamine), which contributed to their violent behavior.

Police from City Police Station, Multan quickly arrived at the scene and arrested two suspects, Faizan and Waqas, recovering the weapon used in the attack.

The body of the deceased was transported to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination.

Authorities confirmed that all three individuals involved were friends, and the confrontation stemmed from a minor disagreement that tragically escalated. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to determine all circumstances surrounding the incident.
