Man killed in firing

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Mar, 2026) A man lost his life in a firing incident reported in the Ganwar Shah Road area of the district.

According to officials of Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122, a man was shot on the left side of his chest near the heart near Adda Shaheedan on Ganwar Shah Road for unknown reasons.

“Soon after receiving a call at the control room, the rescue team reached the scene and checked the vital signs, which were absent,” rescue officials said, adding that the body was shifted to hospital.

The deceased was identified as 28-year-old Aslam, a resident of Larkana. Local police have started an investigation into the incident, while further probe was underway.
