Major reshuffles in health department in Rawalpindi division

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Health department has issued transfer and posting orders of medical officers and senior officials across Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal and Jhelum with immediate effect.

According to the details, Dr. Muhammad Naveed, Medical Officer (BS-17), Deputy District Officer Cantt, Rawalpindi, has been posted as District Health Officer (Medical Services), Rawalpindi, against a vacant post.

In Attock, Dr. Syed Zille-Hussnain Bukhari, Senior Medical Officer (BS-18), THQ Hospital Pindi Gheb, has been appointed District Health Officer (Preventative Services), replacing Dr. Syed Kashif Hussain, who has been posted as Additional Principal Medical Officer (BS-19) at Isfandyar Bukhari District Hospital.

Dr. Mian Hammad Yasin has been posted as Deputy District Health Officer, Jand, against a vacant post, while Dr. Jan Agha has been appointed Deputy District Health Officer, Pindi Gheb, replacing Dr. Usama Haris Malik. Dr. Usama Haris Malik has been posted as Medical Officer at THQ Hospital Pindi Gheb, while Dr.

Muhammad Junaid Khanzada has been appointed Deputy District Health Officer, Hassanabdal, replacing Dr. Babar Hayat, who has been posted as Medical Officer at THQ Hospital Hassanabdal.

In Chakwal, Dr. Ali Ammar Habib Najaf has been appointed District Health Officer (Preventative Services), replacing Dr. Mohammad Shahbaz, who has been posted as Additional Principal Medical Officer at District Headquarters Hospital Chakwal.

Dr. Muhammad Qasim, Medical Officer (BS-17), Sub Jail Chakwal, has been posted as Deputy District Health Officer, Chakwal, against a vacant post.

In Jhelum, Dr. Anjum Qadeer has been posted as Deputy District Health Officer, Pind Dadan Khan, against a vacant post.

Meanwhile in Rawalpindi, Dr. Sheikh Aamer Mahmood has been posted as Deputy District Health Officer, Gujar Khan, Dr. Nouman Gulzar as Deputy District Officer, Rawal Town, and Dr. Muhammad Hamza Razi as Deputy District Officer Cantt, all against vacant posts.

The notification stated that all transfers and postings would take effect immediately.
