Magnitude 5.7 earthquake strikes West Papua, Indonesia

BERLIN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 24th Feb, 2026) An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale struck West Papua, Indonesia, on Tuesday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences reported.

The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres, the German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
