M-5 section to be shut for 8 hours today, tomorrow

LAHORE:

Traffic on a section of the M-5 Motorway will remain suspended for eight hours each on Monday and Tuesday due to repair and restoration work on high-transmission towers and power lines being carried out by the Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco).

According to a spokesperson for Motorway Police Central Region, the Iqbalabad-Guddu section will remain closed from 9am to 5pm on both days. Traffic at Guddu and Iqbalabad interchanges will also remain suspended during the period.
