LUMHS organizes 'Karwan-e-Sehat' camp, screens over 450 students

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) On the directives of Vice Chancellor of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) Professor Dr. Ikram Din Ujjan, the Young Peace and Development Corps (LUMHS) organized a “Karwan-e-Sehat” health and screening camp aimed at providing basic healthcare facilities to youth from the local community.

According to LUMHS spokesperson Yasir Rajput, more than 450 students from three local educational institutions including Government Girls High school LUMHS Colony, Government Boys Elementary School and Government Primary School, underwent medical examination and health screening during the camp.

The camp was attended by ENT professors Dr. Rafique Qaimkhani and Dr. Faizan, Professor Abdul Rehman Siyal from the Pediatrics Department and Dental Professor Dr. Sana Mirza, who is also the focal person of LUMHS.

On the occasion, free medicines and gift hampers were also distributed among the students to encourage health awareness and wellbeing.
