Police in Loralai carried out a major operation and arrested two members of a gang involved in robberies and thefts, recovering stolen vehicles, a motorcycle, and a weapon from their possession
QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2026) Police in Loralai carried out a major operation and arrested two members of a gang involved in robberies and thefts, recovering stolen vehicles, a motorcycle, and a weapon from their possession.
The raid was conducted on the directives of DIG Loralai Range Junaid Ahmed Sheikh and supervised by SSP Dr. Fahad Ahmed. The action was led by SDPO Kareem Mandokhail, while the raiding team was headed by SHO Sub-Inspector Muhammad Sharif Musakhail of Shaheed Muhammad Ashraf Tareen Police Station.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Hasan Khan, son of Haji Bahadur of the Kharoti tribe, resident of Shah Karez, Loralai and Muhammad Israr, son of Sultan of the Tareen tribe, resident of Labour Colony, Loralai.
Officials said the suspects were wanted in multiple robbery and theft cases registered at Chanjan Police Station, Sarki Jangle Police Station, Sadiq Ali Shaheed Police Station (Sadar), and Shaheed Muhammad Ashraf Tareen Police Station.
During the operation, police seized A white Toyota Fielder car, A Toyota Passo car, A 125cc motorcycle and a pistol used in robbery incidents.
According to initial investigations, the accused confessed to committing several robberies and thefts at different locations. Police officials said further recoveries are expected based on the suspects’ disclosures.
A separate case has also been registered against them at Shaheed Muhammad Ashraf Tareen Police Station for possession of an unlicensed weapon and investigations are ongoing.
