ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) The Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan (LJCP) Secretariat has approved long-pending staff promotions in a move aimed at strengthening institutional governance through human resource development.
The promotions were granted on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), in accordance with prescribed rules and procedures.
According to an official statement, the decision resolves cases that had remained pending for more than a decade.
The initiative reflects what officials described as a firm institutional commitment to fairness, administrative justice and organizational renewal. By addressing longstanding promotion matters, the Secretariat has sought to reinforce internal confidence and improve overall administrative efficiency.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan, who also serves as Chairman of the LJCP, has consistently emphasized that sustainable reform in the justice sector must begin with strong internal governance mechanisms. Officials said structured career progression and professional security for employees are being treated as key elements of the Commission’s broader reform agenda.
