LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) The Lahore General Hospital (LGH) organised a specialised training workshop titled “Pediatric Ventilation and Management of Critically Ill Children” on Wednesday to enhance the professional skills of doctors involved in the treatment of critically ill children.
Speaking on the occasion, Medical Superintendent LGH Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain stressed the urgent need to equip young doctors with modern medical knowledge and practical skills to provide high-quality healthcare services to children. He said regular training workshops play a vital role in improving pediatric treatment standards and ensuring better patient outcomes.
The workshop was organized by the Pediatric Critical Care team and was attended by a large number of senior faculty members and young doctors. Among the participants were Prof.

During the workshop, experts highlighted the importance of aligning clinical practices with the latest medical research and technological advancements. Participants highly appreciated the initiative and described hands-on training programs as essential for enhancing the capabilities of young doctors, improving patient safety and raising the overall standard of pediatric healthcare.
