Leopard killed by locals after repeated livestock attacks in Bajaur

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2026) A leopard that had been attacking livestock in Sapray Mandogon area of Wara Mamond Tehsil in Bajaur, was killed by local residents after repeated efforts on Sunday.

According to local residents, the leopard had been preying on cows and goats for several days, killing several animals and causing financial losses to livestock owners.

The repeated attacks created fear among residents, who were increasingly concerned about the safety of their livestock. After continuous efforts, the villagers managed to kill the leopard.

No official statement has yet been issued by the Wildlife Department regarding the incident.
