Legal action over stealing, buying, selling of manhole covers

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jul, 2026) Water and Sanitation Agency Managing Director Saqib Aziz has clarified that strict legal action is being taken against those involved in stealing, buying and selling covers of manholes.

He said that WASA free helpline 1334 is fully functional 24 hours a day and citizens can inform about missing manholes at any place, which will be covered within a short time.

Meanwhile, WASA citizen liaison staff visited Jamia Saeedia, Marzipura and delivered a lecture to students about missing manholes and free helpline 1334.
