LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Standing Committee on Inter-Faith and Inter-Sect Relations here Wednesday organised a seminar titled “Pakistan’s Diplomatic Success and Its Socio-Economic Impact.”
The seminar was chaired by LCCI President Faheem-ur-Rehman Saigol. Participants paid rich tribute to martyrs of Pakistan Army for their sacrifices in the defense of the country.
The seminar was attended by LCCI Executive Committee Member Nadeem Ansari, Convener of the Standing Committee Hafiz Asim Makhdoom, Bhagat Lal Khokhar, Father Basharat Siraj, Qari Khalid Mehmood, Sagheer Abbas, Dr. Mustafa Kamal, Enam Ibrahim, Naeem Hanif, Asmat Ullah Niazi, Muhammad Rafiq and other representatives from different communities and walks of life.
Speaking on the occasion, LCCI President Faheem ur Rehman Saigol said that Pakistan has achieved remarkable diplomatic successes in recent years, enhancing the country's image at the international level and creating new opportunities for trade and economic growth. He said that the sacrifices of Pakistan Army martyrs are a source of pride for the nation and have played a key role in ensuring peace, stability and progress in the country.
He said that from “Marka-e-Haq” until today, Pakistan has secured significant successes both on the diplomatic front and on the ground.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>He said Pakistan effectively presented its position before the international community, strengthened national security and demonstrated that the Pakistani nation remains united and determined to safeguard its sovereignty and national interests. These achievements, he added, have improved Pakistan’s global image, increased investor confidence and opened new economic opportunities.
Convener of the Standing Committee on Inter-Faith and Inter-Sect Relations, Hafiz Asim Makhdoom, said that Pakistan’s diplomatic achievements reflect national unity, strong institutions and the confidence of the people. He emphasized that promoting harmony, tolerance and mutual respect among different faiths and sects would further strengthen peace and stability in the country. He said that national unity is the need of the hour and all segments of society must play their role in the country's development and prosperity.
The participants appreciated Pakistan’s diplomatic achievements and expressed their commitment to promoting national unity, interfaith harmony and economic stability. Special prayers were offered at the end of the seminar for the martyrs of the Pakistan Army, as well as for the peace, security and prosperity of Pakistan.
