Lawmakers warn no force will be allowed to destabilise country, vow zero tolerance for terrorism

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Mar, 2026) Parliamentarians lauded President Asif Ali Zardari’s speech as a strong message of unity and resolve, saying that

Pakistan will not allow any force to destabilize the country, and reaffirmed that its defense system is among the strongest in the world and that there will be no compromise on security or the fight against terrorism.

Danesh Kumar, Member of the Senate, along with Senator Syed Waqar Mehndi of the PPP, Senator Sarmad Ali of the PPP, Senator Muhammad Abdul Qadir, Senator Abid Sher Ali of the PML-N, and Senator Afnan Ullah of the PML-N, collectively, while speaking to ptv news channel, hailed President Asif Ali Zardari’s recent speech.

Lawmakers emphasized that Zardari’s remarks sent a clear warning to both Afghanistan and India against supporting or harboring terrorism.

The senators reaffirmed their full support for Pakistan’s security forces and stated that the country will remain resolute in defending its sovereignty, maintaining internal stability, and combating terrorism without compromise.

PML-N’s Abid Sher Ali paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces, praising their unwavering commitment to national security.

He warned that any attempts to breach the country’s stability would no longer be tolerated and hailed recent actions as a strong lesson to Afghanistan.

He added that Pakistan’s soil has no place for terrorism and asserted that any support from Afghanistan or India for destabilizing efforts is doomed to fail. Sher Ali emphasized that the nation stands united against external threats and will defend its sovereignty at all costs.

Senator Afnan Ullah reaffirmed his solidarity with the armed forces and lauded President Zardari’s speech, describing it as a strong and all-encompassing statement against terrorism.

He also hailed Zardari’s remarks as a decisive and far-reaching message, highlighting that the courage and sacrifices of those who fell defending the country remain an enduring inspiration, and reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to eliminating terrorism from its soil.

Senator Abdul Qadir also voiced his support for the military and praised Zardari’s address, calling it a bold and comprehensive declaration against terrorism, while emphasizing that the bravery and sacrifices of martyrs will never be forgotten.
