Larkana Police foils drug supply attempt, recovered 130kg Cannabis, 228 liquor bottles and 3 held

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) Larkana Police foiled drug supply attempt and in another location recovered 288 liquor bottles from drug peddlers and 03 arrested with buyer on Thursday with 130 kg (130,000 grams) of cannabis along with an Alto car (DWK-092) from the area near Noor Pur Darga within the limits of Baqapur police station.

Senior Superintendent of Police Larkana Ahmed Chaudhry stated the arrested accused have been identified as Muhammad Hafeez Jatoi and Javed Jatoi, residents of Mudeji, District Shikarpur. Interrogation is ongoing with the accused regarding buyers and local dealers.

Another drug peddler arrested with (288) bottles of liquor and a Chingchi rickshaw from the Sadu Dero Laro area within the limits of Nuedero police station.The accused supplying liquor has been identified as Saghir Shah.Interrogation is ongoing with the accused regarding buyers and other accomplices, he added.

SSP Larkana Ahmed Chaudhry has issued orders for certificates of appreciation for the relevant police team for foiling the drug supply attempt.
