Laptops Distributed Among Students at LIMHS Thatta Under PM Youth Laptop Program

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) Liaquat Institute of Medical & Health Sciences (LIMHS), Thatta organized a prestigious ceremony to distribute laptops among talented and deserving students under the Prime Minister’s National youth Laptop Program.

According to the LUMHS spokesperson, the Vice Chancellor of LUMHS Professor Dr Ikram Din Ujjan attended the ceremony as the chief guest and personally distributed laptops among the students.

Addressing the gathering, the Vice Chancellor said that the Prime Minister’s National Laptop Program was an important initiative aimed at promoting digital education and equipping students with modern technological tools.

He maintained that laptops play a vital role in academic research, online learning and access to international educational resources.

He stated that the LUMHS administration was committed to provide facilities to students strictly on merit, adding that such initiatives enhance students’ confidence and academic capabilities. He advised students to utilize these laptops for research, innovation productive activities.

Students from various academic programs benefited from the scheme including MBBS, BDS, postgraduate and graduate programs. The ceremony was attended by faculty members, deans, directors and a large number of students.
