ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) H. E Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia along with DG Muslim World League-Pakistan wing visited The National University of Modern Languages
(NUML) and called on the Rector, Maj Gen (r) Shahid Mehmood Kayani HI(M).
During the meeting, the Rector warmly welcomed the ambassador and reaffirmed the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Rector emphasized NUML’s commitment to enhancing bilateral academic, cultural, and educational cooperation with Saudi institutions, said a press release on Thursday.
H.E Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki appreciated the cordial ties between the two countries and highlighted the strategic and bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Praising the people of Pakistan, particularly the youth, the Ambassador acknowledged their immense potential and termed them one of the country’s greatest assets.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>During the discussion, the Ambassador encouraged NUML to establish academic partnerships and collaborative linkages with Saudi universities, especially in the fields of English Language Teaching and language studies. Both sides expressed optimism about expanding institutional cooperation for mutual academic benefit.
The Ambassador appreciated NUML’s significant role in promoting languages and enhancing academic standards in Pakistan. He expressed goodwill for the university and lauded its contributions to higher education and cultural understanding.
Senior officials from both sides attended the meeting, including representatives from the Saudi Embassy and NUML’s academic and administrative leadership.
