ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) Federal Minister for Climate Change Dr. Musadik Malik on Wednesday said that Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP), government’s support is vital to wipe out menace of terrorism from the provincial parts. Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), of KP government should cooperate with federal government for complete eradication of terrorism, he said while talking to a private television channel.

Opposition should also play role in the parliament and discuss national issues, he said.

In reply to a question about dialogue

with Opposition, he said, we have offered talks to PTI leaders on many occasions but that the party leaders are divided into groups.

Dialogue, he said is the only way forward to resolve political issues. To a question about poverty, he said that inflation has reduced due to efforts of the government. He, however said that there are challenges facing the country. We are committed to address these challenges with collective efforts, he added.
