KP minister presides over meeting on PHE Dept schemes in Malakand

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Public Health Engineering Fazal Shakoor Khan on Thursday presided over an important meeting regarding different projects of the PHE department of district Malakand.

The Executive Engineer (XEN) PHE Malakand gave a detailed briefing to the Provincial Minister on various development schemes in the district, including water supply projects, sanitation initiatives, and efforts aimed at providing basic public services to the people. The briefing also covered the current progress of projects, utilization of funds, challenges being faced, and the future course of action.

Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Fazal Shakoor Khan said that the provision of safe drinking water and improved sanitation facilities to the public remains one of the top priorities of the KP government.

He said that concrete measures are being taken across all districts of the province to ensure the timely completion of PHE projects so that people can benefit from these essential services.

He directed the concerned officials to pay special attention to quality, transparency, and timely execution of all development schemes.

He further emphasized that water supply and sanitation projects are of vital importance for public welfare and improving the quality of life of citizens, therefore, every effort should be made to ensure the highest standards in the planning, execution, and monitoring of these schemes.
