KP Govt submits report to PHC on reopening of closed roads

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government on Wednesday submitted a report to the Peshawar High Court regarding the reopening of roads, in compliance with the court’s orders.

The hearing on the petition against road closures was conducted at PHC during which the Additional Attorney General, the Advocate General KP and senior police officials appeared before the court.

During the proceedings, the provincial government presented its report on the steps taken to reopen the roads. The Advocate General informed the court that, following the court’s directives, the Inspector General of Police had issued orders to ensure the reopening of roads and directed the police to take action against any violations of the law.
