KP Governor, Muqam condole demise of senior journalist Tariq Mateen

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi and Federal Minister for SAFRON and Provincial President of Pakistan Muslim League-N (KP), Engineer Amir Muqam, have expressed deep sorrow and grief over passing of senior journalist and second news editor of Daily Mashriq, Tariq Mateen.

In separate condolence messages issued on Saturday, both dignitaries paid rich tribute to deceased's contributions to field of journalism.

They remarked that demise of Tariq Mateen is a significant loss for journalistic community that will be incredibly difficult to replace, adding that his services to profession will always be remembered.

They concluded by praying for departed soul's forgiveness and for Allah Almighty to grant patience and strength to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
