FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) An eight-member Korean delegation led by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) OAKS CAF Pvt. Ltd Mr. Lee Jae Ho and Chairman Seo Jung visited University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) on Monday to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan’s livestock and dairy sectors under the proposed “Fodder Production and Processing Enhancement Project 2028-31”.
The delegation held a meeting with UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali along with deans and directors of the university at the Syndicate Room of the varsity.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Lee Jae Ho said that the visit marked an important step toward assessing investment potential in livestock and dairy development through improved fodder production and processing systems.
He said that Pakistan was facing a chronic shortage of fodder ranging between 40 to 50 percent in quality as well as quantity, which was directly affecting milk and meat production across the country.

Addressing the meeting, Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali described forage production and fodder shortage as major challenges for the agriculture and livestock sectors and stressed the need for promoting national and international partnerships to address these issues effectively.
He said that the university possessed a cattle farm comprising around 400 animals along with approximately 700 hectares of agricultural land, which placed the institution in a unique position for such collaborative projects through the National Agricultural Research Council.
UAF Vice Chancellor said that the university was committed to supporting research, innovation and international partnerships for sustainable growth in agriculture and livestock sectors.
