Kohat Police neutralize suspicious drone with anti-drone technology

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2026) A special police squad in Kohat successfully neutralized a suspicious drone on Friday using advanced anti-drone technology.

According to police sources, the squad on duty detected the flight of a suspicious drone in the area and immediately launched a swift operation.

The specialized team employed anti-drone systems to jam the drone’s signals, causing its motor to shut down and forcing it to crash to the ground.

District Police Officer (DPO) Kohat, Shehbaz Elahi, stated that security measures across the district have been further tightened to ensure public safety.

He added that special police teams remain on high alert at sensitive locations to maintain peace and order.
