KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) The Kohat Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday paid tribute to Pakistan’s Armed Forces and security institutions on the completion of one year of “Ma’raka-e-Haq,” praising their courage, professionalism and commitment to national defense.

In a joint statement, office-bearers of the Chamber said the Pakistan Army had thwarted hostile designs of the enemy and responded to aggression with determination and professionalism, enhancing the country’s prestige and honor at the international level. They said the developments of the past year demonstrated the capability of both the nation and security forces to effectively counter any threat against the country.

The Chamber representatives stated that Pakistan is a peace-loving country and lasting regional peace is linked to the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with United Nations resolutions.

They said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces and that the sacrifices rendered by martyrs would continue to inspire future generations.

The business community also reaffirmed its commitment to contributing toward national security, economic stability and commercial development. The statement emphasized that unity and collective efforts beyond political and personal differences were essential for strengthening the economy, promoting business growth and ensuring lasting peace and prosperity in the country.
